About us

Godfrey's Advanced Drivers Academy was established on 4 April 1967. Our mission is to effectively train drivers to be able to handle a motor vehicle on a public road in a manner that ensures their safety as well as that of other road users and to reduce accidents.

Over the years the driving school has provided first class training facilities enabling many learners to acquire driving licences and improve their driving skills through the advanced driver training programme with a reputable driving school. We are 100% Black Women owned, BBBEE compliant, affiliated to QASA (Quadpara Association of South Africa) and have a Strategic alliance with The National Council for persons with disabilities in SA (NCPPDSA)

    Client Feedback

    August 2015

  • My name is Nhlanhla Williams and I just recently (August 2015) obtained my drivers license through Godfrey’s driving academy. Through their helpful and rigorous training, I have been able to become a much better driver, learning how to get rid of bad driving habits. Octavia is a really great teacher, who teaches the basics of driving, along with the more challenging tasks. I appreciate all the help and support that I received from the driving academy and Octavia herself, and would really recommend others to work with them! Godfrey's driving academy is surely amazing!!

    Previous Client Feedback
  • When my children, boy & girl, needed preparing for their drivers licence test, I knew exactly who to entrust with the responsibility, Godfrey's Advanced Drivers Academy. Mr Boss Legwale

  • My step dad George met Octavia and inquired about Godfrey's Advanced Drivers Academy. We booked and paid for me to do my learner's licence. Both Mr Moabi and his daughter Octavia are wonderful people who had every confidence in me right from the get go. I wrote my learners on 20th February 2013, I passed it on the first try since trying way back from 1988. I will refer my friends and anyone else I know to Godfrey's Advanced Drivers Academy, in the future. Miss Lucinda Chilton

  • My staff and three children attended Godfrey's Advanced Drivers Academy. We had a very positive experience. I highly recommend GADA.
